I am Ahmed Mohamed from Gaza. I am 23 years old, and the eldest of 5 siblings. My parents always dreamed of my graduation day and my wedding, which is the dream of every father and mother in Gaza.

Before the war, my life was very beautiful. I studied, worked, and spent my free time with my parents and my 4 younger siblings. I was studying electrical engineering at Gaza Community College and was working in the most famous sweets shop in Gaza, called Al-Qadi. I was planning to get married after graduating. I was almost finished with my degree, and as the final step, I was apprenticing at an electricity company. Tragically, the electricity company was destroyed, the sweets shop was destroyed, and my college was destroyed. My dreams were destroyed.

Now I am displaced with my parents and siblings because of the evacuations and the heavy bombardment. We have narrowly missed being bombed multiple times, and my father was injured in the last bombing. Food is extremely expensive due to the blockade. My parents struggle to feed my younger siblings, and they are becoming thin.

Your donation makes a difference. With your donations, I will be able to buy food for my younger siblings and help my father rebuild the house. Any additional funds will be saved for my wedding. Every dollar from you will help me rebuild my dreams and support my family.
